The Location - This holiday home is situated at the end of a quiet residential cul de sac. The duplex backs onto the bushland of "Stoney Ridge Reserve' with its many pretty walking tacks on offer. Wanda Beach and George Reserve is a short 400m walk along a path at the edge of the bushland. The Reserve has some swings and climbing frame for the kids, BBQ, picnic tables and public toilets. There is plenty of grass area to kick a ball, a sandy beach and calm waters for swimming. Wanda Beach delivers lovely sunrises. Although the property is in Salamander Bay, by locals it is considered Soldiers Point as its close to the border of the two suburbs. Soldiers Point is definitely for those who are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday, it is almost entirely surrounded by the Port making it a popular location for fishing and boating. Soldiers Point Marina (2.2km away) offers state-of-the-art mooring facilities and two fine dining restaurants plus cafes.The exclusive Rick Stein Restaurant at the Bannisters Resort is just 700m's away and opposite Bannisters is the Soliders Point Bowling Club which offers more affordable meals. Old Salamander shops is only 1.5km away and for more selection visit the Salamander Shopping Centre which is just 6km away and the popular township of Nelson Bay is 10km from the duplex.

Natural wooden floorboards flow throughout the home with ceiling fans in every room. The duplex is well appointed with soft homely furnishings to help you relax while you're on your holiday. Entering the home you are greeted to a charming living area complete with flat screen TV, DVD and CD player. The well equipped kitchen is attractively decorated and offers dishwasher, full fridge, wall mounted oven and microwave, it also features a small breakfast bar with two bar stools. The dining area offers a wooden table and chairs and leads out through sliding doors to the outside area. The duplex offers a lovely under cover al fresco entertaining area with outdoor lounge and dining furnishings and gas BBQ. This private oasis is fully fenced and provides a peaceful leafy outlook.
The duplex offers three carpeted bedrooms all with ceiling fans and built in robes. Bedroom one has a queen size bed, bedroom two has a double bed and bedroom three has a sofa bed. The three way bathroom has a bath, separate shower, vanity and toilet, The internal laundry offers a washer and dryer. Off street paring is provided on the property driveway (Sorry, the single lock up garage is not for guest use).
