Visiting Port Stephens
Port Stephens is made up of a number of towns on the Tomaree and Tilligerry Peninsulas. Nelson Bay is the main tourism centre on the Tomaree Peninsula and has a marina, boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants, supermarket, petrol station, banks and a huge range of accommodation options.
Close to the Port Stephens attractions, but away from the crowds.
Salamander Bay has some great holiday accommodation including waterfront houses, apartments and villas including Pacific Blue Resort and Horizons Golf Resort. Salamander Bay is not far from all of Port Stephens attractions whilst away from the crowds.
Within ten minutes drive from Nelson Bay there is Shoal Bay, Fingal Bay, Salamander Bay, Soldiers Point, Corlette, Anna Bay and Boat Harbour. You will find accommodation options at each of these towns, along with shops and amenities close by (the main shopping centre with two supermarkets and over 80 specialty shops is at Salamander Bay).
