The Location - The duplex is just 300m to the pristine and sparkling waters of Shoal Bay Beach and all the delights along the foreshore including a selection of cafes, restaurants and boutique shops There is a boat ramp, trailer parking, BBQ, picnic facilities, tennis court hire close by, bike hire, kayak and SUP in the warmer months and don't miss walking to the summit of Tomaree Mountain, which offers stunning views. Close by (2.5km's away) you have the lovely patrolled (Sep-Apr) surf beach of Fingal Bay, also offering a cafe and restaurant and children's playground. Nelson Bay CBD is 3.2km away, and offers boutique shopping, award winning restaurants, fishing co-op, specialty stores.
The Duplex - With high ceilings, floor boards and down lights throughout, the air conditioned living area is situated on the upper level and offers a stylish leather lounge suite, 50 inch plasma TV, DVD player, free wi-fi, plus a variety of DVDs and board games for guests use. There is a dining table with six chairs and sliding glass door access to a front covered balcony area with outdoor setting and gas BBQ. The functional kitchen comes fully equipped with a stainless steel fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, cooktop, dishwasher and plenty of bench space to prepare family meals. There is also a high chair for the baby of the family plus a child safety gate at the top of the stairs. The master bedroom is on the upper level and offers a queen size bed, a 42 inch TV, DVD player, ceiling fan and built in robe, with a bathroom offering a shower over the corner spa bath, vanity and toilet.
The tiled second bedroom is positioned on the ground floor and offers a queen size bed plus a king single bed, built-in robe and sliding door access to a fenced rear yard with covered patio. The third bedroom is air conditioned and ideal for the kids and comes with a bunk bed, a single trundle bed and a portacot. The downstairs bathroom is combined with the internal laundry and offers a glass shower, toilet, top loading washing machine and dryer.
Other features include a pet friendly rear yard with kennel (small dogs and outside only - $50 per pet per stay levy applies), a fold up clothes line plus another outdoor setting and second gas BBQ. The property also offers internal access to the single lock-up garage and driveway which has enough space for a small trailer boat.
