The Location - This great holiday home backs onto the Tomaree National Park offering a peaceful natural bushland setting and access to the many trails for you to explore. You can lay back and relax, or close by you will find the beautiful beach side haven of Fingal Bay (1.2km away). This is a fantastic beach for all the family offering a patrolled surf area (from September through to April) and a great place for toddlers and younger children at the Southern end of the beach. Also located at the beachfront are some great dining options. The popular Longboat Cafe serves breakfast, lunch and dinner during the busy season and Saltwater Restaurant located above the surf club for amazing views and great food. Closer to home (only 250m from duplex) is the Fingal Bay Bowling Club offering affordable meals. Shoal Bay is only 3.5km away and offers spectacular views out through the heads and over the bay with a range of dining options and boutique shops. You will also find a bike hire shop here as there are many lovely tracks and paths to ride, also kayak and stand up paddle hire during the Summer and Easter holidays. Further afield is the lovely township of Nelson Bay located approx 6km away for all your shopping needs including many boutique shops as well as an array of cafes, bars and restaurants if you feel like dining out.
