The Location - Strategically located opposite the crystal clear waters of Shoal Bay Beach, you can park the car and forget it. You will be within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, game fishing club, country club hotel, shops & supermarket. Shoal Bay provides many attractions including swimming at a choice of beaches, bike and walking trails, public wharf, a boat ramp to launch the jet-ski as well as barbecue and picnic facilities along the foreshore. Other local attractions including an array of water sports, golf, sand boarding, camel rides, Murrays Brewery to name a few, are all close by so whatever type of holiday you are looking for Aura provides the ideal base for your stay. The main street of Shoal Bay offers bike hire, convenient stores and multiple cafes and restaurants.

The Apartment - The open plan living area features a fully equipped modern kitchen with a breakfast bar, comfortable lounge and flat screen TV and DVD player. There is an air conditioning unit in this room. The balcony on this level is completely covered and has an outdoor setting to enjoy your home cooked meals.

The private roof top terrace if the ultimate entertaining area. With a built in Gas BBQ and a large outdoor dining set, mini bar fridge, and an outdoor spa. This area is completed with a gorgeous sun bed on the raised deck with breathtaking water views out through the headlands. (One flight of internal stairs for access)

The main bedroom is fitted with a queen size bed, built in robe, air conditioning, ceiling fan, wall mounted flat screen TV, access to the balcony and an ensuite with a walk in shower. The second bedroom has two king single beds, built in robe, ceiling fan and access to the main balcony.

The main bathroom has a striking pebbled floor, a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity. The unit also offers an internal laundry with a washing machine and dryer. There is two car spaces for you in the secured garage. The lift access from the secured communal garage takes you straight to the unit on level two

Good location

Just across from the beach , very good outdoor areas but they were not very clean. The bbq was dirty. Good size apartment , some different furniture than in the photos and more old fashioned.

Disappointing check in experience

First impressions were not great at all. When we arrived at the apartment which was just after 2pm (just after check in time) we found the property in a disgustingly unclean state. Trying to contact the property managers was difficult but after numerous attempts they finally said a cleaner was on the way. After a long drive to get there we were really disappointed to have to wait over 2 hours until we could check in to a clean apartment. When you are paying $400 plus a night you really expect a higher level of cleanliness not to mention the extra importance of this during COVID-19. Apart from the location was great and we do love Shoal Bay.

We are so sorry to hear of your experience and agree that it is not acceptable. We were still in the process of changing our booking system, so some of our properties were not getting the cleaner notification. This has now been rectified and we hope that future guests do not have the same problem.

Great location

Lovely location, close to everything. Outside areas were not very clean, bbq very dirty. Furniture different to what is shown in photos, much older style.

Great apartment in super location

Great place for a long weekend. Quiet and spacious. Spa on rooftop was amazing. We stayed in and cooked each evening and the kitchen was well equiped. Will be back

Great location

Great spot, very spacious and just as pictured, perfect for 2 couples with some great restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, view from upstairs deck was lovely and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. Highly recommend.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
