The Bay Village shopping square is only 70m from the apartment offering a supermarket, hairdresser, beauty/massage, cafes, newsagent and boutique stores, and you can enjoy an abundance of cafes and restaurants along the Shoal Bay Foreshore. Tomaree Mountain, less than 1km away, has an approximately 20-minute walk up to the summit to a number of lookouts offering magnificent views of surrounding coastline and secluded beaches. Nelson Bay is approximately 3km from the apartment, providing a variety of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants as well as the d'Albora Marina which offers the popular dolphin watch cruises.
This tasteful first floor, 2-bedroom apartment is situated at the rear of the Aura complex and has a large, air-conditioned, open plan living area featuring a flat screen TV, DVD, comfortable lounges, a glass dining table, and a well equipped, stylish kitchen complete with dishwasher, granite benchtops and a breakfast bar.
Both bedrooms feature balcony access and built-in robes, with the air-conditioned master also offering an ensuite with shower and toilet. The 2nd bedroom, with a tri bunk and single bed, has a 26" LCD TV with DVD player. The main bathroom offers a bathtub, separate shower, and toilet, and there is an internal laundry with washer and dryer.
The building has security cameras and security lift access. Parking is provided in the basement with street entry.

Apartment 5 Aura Apartments
I've already provided a review via and was disappointed to see that the things we had issues with were report as early as January this year.
The location and apartment are fantastic. The ease of access to parking was welcome as we were travelling with my 85 year old father. The apartment was relatively clean however we were not happy with:
- Light in master bedroom not working - difficult for my elderly father.
- Laundry tap leaking consistently
-Kitchen sink plug not usable
- Not enough toilet paper provided for 2 nights
- Outdoor area had not been cleaned and was unusable
- Sheets provided were pristinely clean however doona covers and pillow slips had not been washed and risky with COVID 19 still around.
With these small improvements, we would stay here again.

Great location but some disappointing things
Great location and apartment size. Unfortunately linen was stained including old blood spots. One garbage bin for the whole 2 bathrooms and kitchen. Lots of dust, fluff, hair on furniture and floor. Bathrooms were clean. If these things were improved then it would be a great property.
