A Super Unit in Shoal Bay.

The Location - Bay Village is located directly across from the pristine waters of Shoal Bay Beach and also amongst the Shoal Bay foreshore where cafes and restaurants are located at your finger tips. With clear turquoise waters and white sands it is in a desired waterfront area and is the perfect holiday getaway.  Right on your door step you are spoilt with the energetic atmosphere of Shoal Bay, a pristine beach offering great swimming and a chance to unwind and for the more adventurous, there are kayaks, stand up paddle boards (open everyday during the high seasons of school holidays, long weekends and Easter) and bicycles for hire.  There are secluded walking tracks through Tomaree National Park and spectacular views from the Summit of Tomaree Mountain, plus a selection of other surf beaches. Just a 5 minute drive (3 km) in the opposite direction brings you to Nelson Bay. 

The Unit - This desirable unit with tasteful furnishings has two bedrooms and one bathroom, styled for your comfort there is air conditioning in the living area and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The open plan living area has character and comfort including a lounge area with a flat screen TV, dining table that seats 6 and a well equipped kitchen with a stand alone oven, fridge/freezer and microwave.

The main bedroom has a queen bed while the second bedroom has two single beds.The bathroom is combined with the laundry and includes a shower, vanity, toilet and front loading washing machine. Sit back and cook on the gas BBQ whilst enjoying the water views from the balcony. There is one car space for you located in the secure parking. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

Little family getaway

Great location, spacious apartment with all the appliances needed for a long stay.
Very noisy at night, could hear people on the beach and partying at all hours of the night.

Bay Village stay Dec 2019

Short stay for Christmas getaway. Positives : Great location right across from the beach, as well as bus stop directly outside to Nelson Bay, nice lounge/ dining area, with convenient shops below. Nice view from balcony, though not great seats for little ones (bar stools) Negative: Was noisy at night in main bedroom, even with window closed. Stairs from both garage & up to apartment very narrow (no lifts). Not much Working area or cupboard space in kitchen, mainly due to fridge sticking out & blocking some of the drawers. Though it was a bit expensive for what you get.

Unit is in a great spot, close proximity to shops/restaurants and beach. Bit small for children. Beds uncomfortable and shower pressure too low.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
