The Location - Ideally positioned along the popular Little Beach foreshore your family will love the grassed area with shaded picnic and BBQ facilities, the still waters for splashing around over the hot summer months, the 4 lane all-tide boat ramp to launch your boat or jet skis, the public jetty to cast a line plus the short stroll (800m) to the top of the Coastal Patrol for the beautiful vistas and an enjoyable meal. This property is also within walking distance to Shoal Bay Beach (400m), the Nelson Bay Wests Club (950m), The Boat House restaurant and takeaway/general store (both approx 500m away). The Nelson Bay CBD and Marina are just over 2km away and offer boutique shopping, award winning restaurants not to mention plenty of dolphin and whale watch cruises. 

The Unit - This unit is set in tranquil parklands opposite the family friendly "Little Beach", this two bedroom, top floor unit has lovely water views from the private balcony with out door setting. The open plan living area features high definition digital TV with Foxtel IQ and combined DVD/CD player. The equipped kitchen comes with a microwave, fridge/freezer and oven.

Bedroom one has a queen bed, built-in robes and a ceiling fan for your comfort during the hotter months and bedroom two has a set of single bunks and also a single trundle bed if required for that extra person, there are also built-in robes. The bathroom provides a shower, vanity and toilet.

Other features include an internal laundry with top-loading washing machine and double lock up garage. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

Great location

Great, private, quiet, comfortable apartment, was ideal for our little family. As it is the 3rd floor there are 3 flights of stairs, this did not bother us and its worth the veiw! Beautiful area and a short walk into town centre. Would definitely recommend and will be back again.

Disappointed

There was dirty linen left in the laundry and fruit and dirty tissues in the kitchen tidy. We paid over $500 for one night. It was pretty disappointing. I mentioned it to a few staff but nobody seemed to care less.

It is all about the location

The property was as described with respect to location and amenities however does need some maintenance to ensure everything is working prior to guests arriving! Both beside lights did not work even with new globes so required to be replaced but when it was requested from the managing agent we were told they would contact the owner but we never heard anything more. There were inadequate number of power points in the bedroom to allow both lamps and clock to be on at the same time. The bathroom light required a light globe that we had to find on Christmas eve via very convoluted way of contacting the managing agent. There is a ceiling fan in the main bedroom and floor fan in the second bedroom but sea breezes keep this place nice and cool most of the time. The bed in the main bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on and in order to allow us to get some sleep I had to add every blanket and every spare doona to the mattress under the sheet to soften the mattress. I am not sure how anyone sleeps on this mattress. This unit is in a great location and has a double lock up garage which was great to store out boat however there is height and length restrictions if you have a large vehicle. The bonus is there is plenty of off street parking as well.
Winning Holidays manage this property and I do not think they do it well as calling the office you need to go via Philippines call centre and when you do get someone in Australia they are not in Nelson Bay so made any complaints very difficult to get a resolution. This happened in Christmas week which did make a for a stressful start to the holiday.

Great location great view

Really lovely apartment, if you don't mind 3 flights of stairs you'll have a beautiful balcony view of the water. Could have done with a clean, but overall really enjoyed our stay.

Great place

We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment is smallish but newly-renovated and has everything you might need. The beach is just across the road. Foxtel IQ was a great bonus! The view is lovely. Please note, if this matters to you, there is no dishwasher and the dryer is in the garage.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
