102 Government Road is ideally located just 300m from family friendly Dutchies Beach for calm water swimming, picnics, BBQ's and a playground. If you're up for a walk, run or ride, a cycleway/walking path extends along the coast offering a lovely scenic route from Bagnalls Beach, past Dutchies and into Nelson Bay. Or, it is just over 1km or a 13-minute walk to head directly from your holiday house into Nelson Bay's boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and the marina.
This cosy fisherman's cottage may look a little quirky from the outside, but inside it has been nicely renovated and is comfortable, with everything a couple or small family will need on your beach holiday. It features air-conditioned, open plan living/bedroom with polished floorboards, a queen bed and 2 single beds, plus a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player and a ceiling fan. The separate kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, stove, microwave and fridge, along with a small table to dine at. The combined bathroom/laundry has a shower, toilet, washing machine and dryer.
There is a sunny enclosed sitting room that leads out to the deck and fully fenced yard. The outdoor area is is fantastic, with a gas BBQ, outdoor setting and umbrella on the deck, plus hammocks to relax in, and a lovely grassed yard with leafy, mature gardens and plenty of space for kids to play.
Secure parking is available in a single lock up garage, and there is off-street parking to fit another car or a boat.
Perfect for those on a budget who would like to get away, with a great location and a large yard.

No pets inside.
Bit noisy with the trucks roaring by, the house literally shakes. Otherwise it's nice. No pets inside.

Handy
The property was very compact, states it can accommodate 5 cant see how. When we booked the property, we inquired if the yard was mowed as we have a small blind dog they ensured us that it was. We it wasnt so our dog had trouble as everything hit her in the face. We found glass under the table, used tissues under the mat and the list goes on, not enough room the list the rest. We will NEVER stay there again.. The ladies in the Office were great, so thank you, as all the problems werent your fault. Id advise anyone thinking about this property to think again.

Great little cottage
We stayed 4 days and found it very functional. Very close to the main dog beach as well as centre of town well shaded backyard for the kids to play in. Only issue we had was road noise other than that great place.
