Waterfront Accommodation on Wanda Beach

The Location - The duplex is located on the waterfront of Wanda Beach and only 400m to the Wanda Village Shops where you will find a newsagent, bakery, butcher, IGA, bottle-shop, restaurants and much more. Take a scenic stroll around the headland with picnic tables along the way or in the other direction along the beach to Bannisters Resort where you have a choice of three restaurants including the famous Rick Stein Restaurant or across the road to Soldiers Point Bowling Club which offers bistro meals with childrens playground, roll-up bowls and entertainment. Horizons Golf course is approximately 3.2km from the duplex for guests who want to challenge themselves on the championship course or moor your vessel at the award winning Soldiers Point Marina, just 2.5km from the property. The township of Nelson Bay is approx 7.5km away.

The Duplex - Accommodating eight guests comfortably, two families can stay together under one-roof making it an affordable beachfront holiday. With stunning views across Port Stephens and a sandy beach just metres from the back door this exclusive architecturally designed waterfront has everything to offer for your next holiday getaway. This first floor duplex offers a tiled and air conditioned open plan living area, with views from almost every angle. The large living room offers a wall mounted flat screen Smart TV with access to Netflix (own account required) and Wi-Fi, a large glass door opens our fully to give access to one of the waterfront balconies which includes an outdoor setting. The dining area adjacent has sliding glass door access to the second covered waterfront balcony. The modern kitchen comes fully equipped and includes stainless steel appliances including family size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, wall oven, glass stove top, granite bench-tops including a breakfast bar.

The spacious well appointed master bedroom with high ceilings offer a king size bed, built-in robes, access to the entrance balcony and a private ensuite bathroom with walk-in glass shower, vanity and toilet. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, built in wardrobe, with the third bedroom offering two sets of bunk beds and built-in robe. The main bathroom has a shower over the bath, vanity with the toilet separate. Other features include gas BBQ located on the entrance balcony, internal laundry with top washing machine and dryer, a double lock-up garage, driveway parking and direct beach access to Wanda Beach.

There are definitely smoke detectors at this property.

Wet Summer Getaway

This property had fantastic views and access to the beach for a swim or beach walks. It is close to Bannisters and the Bowling Club. Weather was ordinary but property was great.

Over priced , bug infested , old & run down apartment great view

Cockroaches everywhere
Would not / could not eat or entertain
Torn stained dirty carpet
Absolutely misleading photos
Outdoor furniture not as in photo, but old broken chais
And the boasting BBQ �� would cook on that anything

Beautiful view but requires cleaning and maintenance

This property has a fabulous view but is well overdue for maintenance.

It was in a dirty condition, door handles broken, kitchen dirty (cockroach poo in shelves), toilet brushes rusted, outdoor areas very dirty, and the walls need a coat of paint.

The only redeeming feature was the view.

For the price I paid, I would be expecting a cleaner, more maintained property.

I even had the clean the place after the cleaner had been asked to return.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
