Pet Friendly Family Home close to dog Beach

The Location - Pawprints on Bagnalls Beach Road is just a short 700m walk to Port Stephens only off-the-lead council approved dog beach, Bagnalls Beach. The leafy reserve has a childrens play area, picnic tables and BBQ facilities. Please note that ticks are common in the reserve so please check your dog.There is also a pleasant cycleway to Corlette for bike riders or walkers leading you to a takeaway shop and Thai restaurant just 1.4km's away. Take a short stroll around the point from Bagnalls beach (300m) where you will discover a second swimming beach, Dutchmans Bay (Dutchies), sorry no dogs allowed.The Nelson Bay CBD with its Marina, award winning restaurants, cafes and boutique shops are approximately 2.2km from the house. Salamander Shopping Centre just 2km away is also close to hand.

The House - Great family holidays including the dog is guaranteed at Pawprints. This beautiful warm and homely single level house provides space, privacy, comfort and style in a quiet residential location. With its versatile indoor and outdoor living it is designed for family gateways. Entering the house you are welcomed to a carpeted lounge area, complete with comfortable lounges, digital flat screen TV, free wi-fi, air conditioning, and front windows dressed with stylish plantation shutters. Also at the front of the house is the first bedroom providing two king single beds, ceiling fan and built in robes. Continuing through the house brings you to the open plan dining and kitchen area. The dining area offers a lovely wooden dining table and chairs, other tasteful furnishings with a stereo. The spacious well equipped kitchen complete with fridge freezer, microwave, oven and stove top, dishwasher and coffee machine, and boasts a breakfast bar and two bar stools. The walk through kitchen offers convenience to easily access the lounge area.

Progressing through to the back of the house brings you to the three other bedrooms, main bathroom and laundry. Two of these bedrooms offers king sized beds, one has an ensuite with shower, the other bedroom has a queen size bed. All the bedrooms are carpeted with built in robes and ceiling fans. The main bathroom has a bath, shower and vanity and the laundry has a washing machine and dryer with external access.

The highlight to this property is the ideal outdoor entertainers delight, A naturally flowing layout with a covered outdoor area with a stylish round dining suit and BBQ and an open deck with a comfortable outdoor lounge setting surrounded by palm trees. The private leafy fully fenced yard has ample of space for everyone. Pets are welcome outside only. There is parking on the driveway fora car and boat if required, sorry the garage is not available for guest use.

Great house but lacked essential extras for a 2 night stay

The house was in a good location and was clean upon arrival. The issues/poor experiences that we had were to do with what was not provided with the house. For example there was not enough toilet paper provided (only what was on the toilet paper holder in the bathroom) so we had to go buy some extra. There was about 5 sheets left on the paper towel roll so when we were leaving and trying to clean up we had to go buy additional paper towel (no kitchen cloth provided). There was no garbage bags provided other than what was already in the bin so again we had to go buy garage bags to change the bin out. There was no cleaning spray provided and the gas bottle in the bbq outside was empty. It was just annoying that we kept discovering all these little basic things that you expect to be provided weren’t in the house so we continually had to keep picking things up when we were out.

Great Pet friendly stay

Lots of space and fabulous entertaining outdoor area. Spacious bedrooms and so close to the beach and shops.

Fantastic property

A lovely house, clean, very well equipped, decorated very nicely. Beautiful backyard, and outside entertainment area. Would be a lovely area for a dog too. Had a great stay.

Very Happy

This property was exactly as it was photographed. Very clean and great layout for big families or groups of friends. It rained most of the weekend but we were still able to sit outside under the large covered patio and enjoy the house. The only two things missing were wifi and a video machine to be able to watch movies in the bad weather, but otherwise everything was great.

If you cancel your accommodation the following applies -

1. Bookings cancelled at least 90 days prior to “Guest” arrival date is refundable less a cancellation fee of $100.00.

2. Booking cancelled less than 90 days from “Guest” arrival date are non refundable but the following does apply –

i) if any guest has booked direct with Alloggio Holidays, and request a refund for a booking arrival date inside 90 days, we do not refund but can transfer booking dates or if guests are uncertain of dates we will provide them with an Alloggio Holiday gift voucher to the value of their “Rent” component of the booking.

ii) our fees will be retained however when the guest does utilise the gift voucher the value of rent will be towards whatever the cost of their new booking value is. There will be no booking fees charged on gift voucher bookings as we have already retained the fees.

iii) The voucher will be valid for booking stay dates within three years from date of issue and may be used on any of our Holiday Properties depending on availability.

3. If you shorten your stay, the unused portion of your rental is not refundable.

4. Any Bookings made via an OTA, for example, Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider will be subject to the OTA Terms and Conditions.If you cancel any booking made through Stayz, , Airbnb or other booking provider you may be required to pay further fees to those providers pursuant to their cancellation policy.

5. Any costs imposed by any other provider are in addition to any costs imposed by Alloggio Management.
